Christopher Ortiz earned a role in the Graceland University Theatre Department's spring production of "W;t."

Graceland University Theatre produced "W;t" as the Spring 2017 department production, and Christopher Ortiz of West Des Moines, IA, was chosen as Master Electrician.

Playwright Margaret Edson's W;t was the winner of the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and has been critically acclaimed since its original production. Graceland University Guest Artist Jody Hovland performed the leading role alongside students and staff. Hovland was a founder and Artistic Director of Iowa City's professional company, Riverside Theatre. She also served as a Distinguished Artist-in-Residence at Cornell College and is currently an Ambassador with the National New Play Network.
