Douglas Named to NSCAA-NAIA All-Midwest Region Team

2016 Dec 22

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced that Graceland University Women's Soccer's Brooke Douglas has been named to the 2016 NSCAA NAIA Women's All-Midwest Region Second Team. Douglas, a Heart of America first team all-conference selection, is one of 14 players from the Heart of America Athletic Conference to receive the recognition.

The senior midfielder started all 18 games this season for the Yellowjackets. She totaled two goals and three assists in her senior campaign and helped lead Graceland to a 7-9-2 mark on the year, including a Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament appearance.

"We are all very proud of and happy for Brooke Douglas. She is the epitome of what our program strives for on and off the pitch," said Ozzie White, Graceland University Women's Soccer Head Coach. "She is a great student, a natural leader, a very good soccer player and, above all, the type of person who will continue to earn success and opportunity. We will miss her, but her legacy will shine brightly on this program for many years to come. Congratulations on a great achievement and thanks for your immense contributions."
