Jeremy Deemer Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Graceland University Men's Basketball junior center Jeremy Deemer was named to the 2016-17 Academic All-District, District Three, College Division Basketball Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Deemer, who is a committed student in the classroom, is double majoring in business and economics. He was also recently named to the 2017 NABC Allstate Good Works team. He has helped guide the Yellowjackets to Graceland's first NAIA DI Men's Basketball ranking in program history. It was also the first national ranking since 1997 when Graceland competed at NAIA DII.

To be eligible for nomination to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must be a starter or an important reserve.
