Jeremy Deemer Named Graceland University Male Junior Athlete of the Year

Jeremy Deemer of Leon, IA, was was named 2016-17 Graceland University Male Junior Athlete of the Year during the annual athletic banquet at Graceland University April 18.

Jeremy, a Graceland University Men's Basketball center, was a 2017 NABC All-State Good Works Team Selection. He finished the year seventh in the nation in offensive rebounds/game (3.313) and averaged 12.6 points/game, while shooting 0.677 percent from the floor. Jeremy was also named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, CoSIDA Academic All-American, First Team All-Conference and NAIA All-American Honorable Mention.
