Cydney Stables of Graceland University has been awarded a $2,500 National Dairy Board scholarship. The National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDPRB), through Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), annually awards up to eleven $2,500 scholarships to eligible undergraduate students enrolled in college/university programs that emphasize dairy. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, an interest in a career in a dairy-related discipline, and demonstrated leadership, initiative and integrity. Well done, Cydney!

Several Graceland students represented the University at the Iowa Choral Directions Association Intercollegiate Honor Choir in February.

Joe Lupton '23 returns to The Hill after a successful weekend at the 66th Annual NAIA Men's Wrestling Championship. Lupton placed 6th overall and earned the esteemed All-American status.

Four Graceland Honors students were part of the NCHC annual conference in Dallas, November 3-6.

Eight Graceland students travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, for Future Farmers of America National Convention.

40 students from the Economics of Sports courses gathered together to participate in an out-of-class event related to this Fall Semester's business simulation.

The annual Upper Midwest Regional Honors Conference was held virtually this year on March 26, 2021. Several Graceland students attended and presented their research.

Graceland University students were elected by their peers to the Graceland University Student Government for 2021-22. The elected students will take office at the start of the fall semester 2021 as an integral part of the vibrant Graceland University student leadership community. Students serving in student government roles at Graceland gain valuable leadership experience and become a respected voice for the Graceland student body.

The Graceland University Music Department held its annual solo competition Feb. 7. This competition is open to all current music students and invites them to prepare a performance for adjudication and comments by outside adjudicators with diverse backgrounds in music. In addition to the competition for all music students, music majors were eligible to compete separately for one of three Anthony Hyde awards. The Anthony Hyde award was initiated by Graceland music alumni in 1982 to promote musical excellence.
