Graceland University Students Serve as Peer Mentors

Graceland University Peer Mentors participated in mentoring first-year students during the 2018-19 academic year. Peer mentors completed a training program before the year began in order to provided essential support and leadership to the Graceland University incoming class through intentional outreach. They led class lab sessions and provided a wide range of support both in and out of the classroom.

Graceland University Peer Mentors participated in mentoring first-year students during the Fall 2017 semester. Peer mentors spent over 24 hours training before and during the semester. Fall 2017 Peer Mentors provided essential support and leadership to the Graceland University incoming class through intentional outreach, leading lab sessions, and accompanying first year students to events on campus.

Graceland University students participated in mentoring first-year students during the Spring 2017 semester. Peer mentors provided essential support and leadership to the Graceland University incoming class throughout the 2016-17 academic year. Peer mentors were dedicated to building relationships with their students, and they collaborated to design an even more robust program for the upcoming school year.

Graceland University students participated in mentoring first-time freshmen during the Fall 2016 semester. Peer mentors spent over 10 hours training before welcoming students in INTD1100-Critical Thinking in the Liberal Arts and Sciences. Fall 2016 peer mentors provided essential support and leadership to the Graceland University incoming class throughout the entire semester.
