The Graceland University senior defender from Colorado Springs, CO, has started all 18 games this season for the Yellowjackets. He has compiled 20 shots, 11 of which were on target. As of Nov. 1, he is the second leading scorer on the team with four goals.

Clubs and organizations are primarily student initiated and student-driven at Graceland University and offer students the opportunity to get involved and gain college and professional experience outside the classroom. International Club offers students support and opportunities to share their cultures with the campus through events such as International Orientation, International Picnic, Coffee & Tea Talks, International Night, World Fair, Cultural Celebration and various other activities.

Latino Club offers students support and opportunities to share their cultures with the campus through various events such as Latin Nights at Choices, Salsa dance lessons, cultural presentations at the Cultural Celebration, participation in International Night and the World Fair, as well as other activities.

A team captain is more than just a title. They serve as leaders, role models and representatives for the rest of the team, both on and off the field or court. Their leadership and influence is fundamental to the team's success in all ways.

Graceland University offers nearly 50 clubs and organizations for students to get involved on campus. These students have stood out by offering their time and talent to the success and leadership of one or more club or organization during the 2015-16 school year.

Graceland University offers the integration of student government and residence life, allowing student leaders to impact the entire campus community. Students elected as house council leaders become the members and decision makers in the student government organizations. The Graceland University Distinguished Leadership Award is awarded to students from each division/school who have most enriched the Graceland community and have shown exemplary leadership through their superior skills, talents and dedication.

The Student Life Award is given to a graduating senior who has made significant contributions to multiple areas of the university community during their student experience. This award is recognition of qualities that include leadership, excellent academic record and respect by students, faculty and staff.

The newly elected students will take office at the start of the fall semester 2016 as an integral part of the vibrant Graceland University student leadership community. Students serving in GSG roles gain valuable leadership experience and become a respected voice for the Graceland student body.
